Five volumes of the Chumash Khak L’Yisrael with the commentary “Yosef L’Khak”. Facsimile of the Zhitomir edition. Cover has red ink. Genesis and Leviticus are missing covers, and Deuteronomy is lacking binding. Genesis is missing the front binding. Two others have detached front bindings. Original bindings, stains, tears, some pages are detached and some are missing. Parts of the pages are fragile. Generally ok to good condition. Interesting notes of ownership and stamps: “Yisrael Hirsch” on the cover of Numbers, with a long note handwritten, a dedication from a grandfather to his grandson with instructions for after his death, by “Yitzhak ben Avraham” or “Pinchas ben Moshe Levichter.”
