By Haim Meir ben Avraham Shmuel Hillman. Biography of the three first Admorim of Chabad. Divided into three sections, each Admor has a separate section with his own cover page. At the front of the book is a general cover page. The book constitutes a source for many historical books, especially historical Chabad books, and was published in many editions. The last Lubavitcher Rebbe added comments in the margins of the book, and over the years a controversy arose over the reliability of the stories in this book, but the Chabad scholar and historian Joshua Mondschein, in a reasoned article, confirms the reliability of the book. | [2], 16, 180; 36; 43 pages. 23cm. Bound at the end with an issue of the journal HaPeles, 9th issue, Berlin 1903. Binding a little defective in the spine. Generally very good condition.
