At the beginning is a collected commentary on the halachot of shechita, 46 pages long. Then there is a section on the grammar of the Torah, a second exegesis on a commentary of Chapter 11 of Halachot Shechita by Rabbeinu Saadia Gaon, with additions and subjects gathered from masechtot of Gemara, signed at the end….Afterwards is an “interesting commentary on the haftaroth of the whole year provided by Hashem according to the Zohar”, with the entire year’s haftaroth. At the end is a colophon with an emotional prayer by the scribe, signed at the end: “Dawud ben Manes”, a scribe from Yemen in the 19th century (Encyclopedia of Yemenite Sages, p. 84). Total of more than 400 pages. 12x16cm. Moth holes in the margins and binding. Various stains, generally good condition.
