Tshuvot HaRashba [attributed to the Ramban], “printed precisely and with the addition of a marei mekomos to the Shas for the benefit of those studying, printed in Warsaw by Yitzhak Goldman.” 67 pages (134 sides). Stains and light defects, generally good condition. Cover has an important stamp: “Meir Yosef Yeshaya Steiner in Adrag-Krestirer (see below).” Handwritten signature. Stamp: “among the books of Dov Sternbuch".

The Admor Rabbi Meir Yosef Rubin, son-in-law and successor of Admor Rabbi Avraham Steiner, son of Rabbi Yeshayle of Krestirer. Son of Rabbi Baruch of Brizovitzk. Died in 1944 in Auschwitz. Son-in-law of Rabbi Meir Yosef was Rabbi Menachem Yisrael Rottenburg of Koson.

Rabbi Dov Sternbuch of Gateshead and Bnei Brak was the son of Rabbi Asher of London, a descendent of the Gra. He was a huge talmid chacham who knew the Shas by heart. He was close with many sages, and was a student of the Gra”a Dessler. He had a special relationship with Maran Rabbi Haim Kanievsky, who forbid him from asking those at his beit midrash not to stand in his honor. He was brother of the Ra’avad of Antwerp, Rabbi Eliyahu Sternbuch, and the Ra’avad of the Charedi community, Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch. Died in 1990 when he was on his way to Minchah, aged 96.
