Huge fish made with pretty engraving work, decorated with a yellow copper snake on it, probably symbolic of the copper snake in the Torah. Decorated with three smaller fish which, together with the fins, add up to five, hinting at the traditional hamsa, a clear symbol used by Tunisia Jewry, which believed in the power of fish to preserve from the Evil Eye. Length: 45cm. Width (max): 17cm. Excellent condition.
