Geulat Yisrael, with the Nofet Tzufim commentary and Chayot Hakodesh…" Rare chassidic work, that was only partially printed in later editions (the first section was printed under the title "Pitgamin Kadishin"). Chassidic Torah ideas from the Baal Shem Tov, the Maggid of Mezeritsch, Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchov, Rabbi Aharon of Zhitomir and other leading Torah personalities. The second section is from the Torah of Rabbi Pinchas of Korzec [according to Gershom Scholem, this is the first printing of Rabbi Pinchas of Korzec's ma'amarim] on the Medrashei Pliya, verses and more. His name is alluded to at the start of the Torah thoughts in this section and his sayings are quoted in short on various subjects, reasons for behaviors, segulot and more. Includes ideas from other chassidic greats; Rabbi Efraim of Sudyklow – the "Degel Machaneh Efraim, " Rabbi Baruch of Mezibuzh and more. All of their names are hinted to in the initials at the start of each chapter. First edition, published by Rabbi Yehoshua Avraham ben Yisrael [Ostrog] (the title page notes Amsterdam). 1821. Stefansky, Chassidut 107. Incomplete copy – section one: missing the title page and introductory page 1-31 leaves. Section two: missing the title page and introductory page, 2 first leaves and 2 leaves in the middle, 3-8, 11-22 leaves, missing the last three leaves (in the original: [2], 31; [2], 25 leaves). Without binding, all the leaves are detached, worming holes and tears in a few places with blemish to text. Overall moderate-poor condition.
