Small, exquisite case for a sefer torah, all made of silver (no wood filling) with hammer work of plants and Stars of David, including matching rimonim and bells made of silver, a bolt attached with a chain for closing, a silver base on four spherical legs of silver. Wonderful, beautiful work. Inside is a Sefer Torah in Sefardi handwriting. An important and old item, probably from Turkey or Syria. Weight of the case: 7.2kg. Height: 66cm. Diameter: 28cm. Small defects, generally good condition.
