Original postcard depicting the façade of the magnificent synagogue in Kishinev, including a view of its yard. The printed text on the back includes the [Hebrew] caption: "This synagogue was built in 1913…during the rabbinate of the great gaon Rabbi Yehuda Leib Tsirelson." Features a list of the members of the building committee and the trustees and assistants that were first chosen. Caption on the bottom: 1913-1927. In other words, this postcard was printed fourteen years after the synagogue was built. Liberal Kishinev Press. 14×9 cm. Small blemishes and stains. Overall fine condition. Not in the ephemera collection of the National Library.
