Maggid Meisharim on the Torah "With elucidations of great lofty ideas that were revealed to…Yosef Karo…" Printed in Lemberg, 1850. [1], 57 leaves. New binding with gold embossing, worming blemishes, overall poor condition. The third leaf bears an owner stamp that has not been adequately checked. The title page bears an interesting handwritten inscription: קודש לביהמ"ד אדמו"ר מהרי"א מזידטשויב זצללה"ה מעיזבון ה"ר בעריש לאסיי…[?ן" – Admor Yitzchak Eizkik Eichenstein of Zidichov (1805-1873) was the son of Rabbi Yissocher Berish. He was a prominent Admor of his time, a disciple and successor of his uncle, Rabbi Zvi Hirsh of Zidichov and Rabbi Moshe of Sambor. He authored Likutei Torah V'HaShas, Likutei Mahar"i and more.
