Rabbi Menachem Mendel published the Ahavas Chessed with his grandfather's Torah thoughts and he writes about their joint learning sessions in his preface. The Admor later published Vaya'as Avraham with his grandfather's customs and prayer habits. After his father's death, he took over the Chechnov rabbinate. He then served as rabbi in a number of communities and in 1898, he moved to Novydor near Warsaw, though he had many chassidim in all different communities. He then served as rabbi of Zawiercie and became known by that name. He was noted for his great love and dedication to Eretz Israel.
