Vaya'as Avraham. "The prayer version and customs of the holy Admor, G-dly person, wonder of his generation, genius…Rabbeinu Avraham av"d Chechnov." Written by his grandson, Admor Menachem Mendel Chaim Landa, av"d in זאוויערציע and edited by his grandson Rabbi Yaakov Werdiger. This rare work sheds light on this relatively unknown chassidic figure. First edition. Lodz, 1936. Two title pages. The work opens with facsimiles of a letter written by the holy rebbe of Chechnov to his son. The work ends with the "Pri Ha'aretz" halachic kuntress by the author, with a separate title page. The title page bears a prominent owner notation: שייך להנגיד החסיד מוה"ר אהרן נ"י גאלדרייך נכד הגה"ק מטשעכאנאב." and additional notations from him on the flypapers. [7] 512 pages [1]. New binding with gold embossing, light stains, waterstains on a few of the last leaves. Overall fine condition.
