2. Nishmat Haim “with droshim on the concept of the pure soul.” With addition of the author’s history. First page has an illustrated portrait of the author, rabbi of the Amsterdam community and the greatest fighter for the Anusim in Portugal during the Inquisition—Rabbi Menashe ibn Israel. In the copy before us, the picture is detached whole, and there is an ink stain on the side of the picture—it should be noted that most copies lack the picture. 18 pages apart from the picture, 107 total pages. Stains, light bits of tape, generally good condition
