Letter to the Chief Rabbinate in which the head of the Porat Yosef yeshiva (Rabbi Ben Zion Aba Shaul) asks them to give him a certificate to be a city rabbi. The rabbi says that he has served for 25 years as the head of the yeshiva and that he was certified to the rabbinate by Rav Ben Zion Meir Hai Uziel, Rabbi Era Atia, and Rabbi Hezekia Shabtai. The letter was typewritten and signed by hand. Small tears, no damage to text. Filing holes. Signs of folding. Generally good condition.
