עמלת בית המכירות:

Bar mitzvah drasaha, in German, for the boy David Koschland (probably from Hannover), parshat Shlach, June 14, 1879. Written probably by a professional, ink on paper, using a German handwriting known as “Sütterlin.” Although the discourse of the sermon indicates that this is an Orthodox family, and the sermon deals with the sin of the spies associated with that parasha, the Land of Israel is not mentioned at all and the quoted verses relating to the Land of Israel are removed from context and present the struggle over the land as a symbol of the daily struggle of the Jew. Attached is a document with the translation of the sermon into Hebrew. 4 large folio pages, binding disconnected, various stains. Generally very good condition.
