New York, 1986. Given by Marat Alta Figa Teitelbaum, wife of Rabbi Yoel of Satmar (the VaYo’el Moshe). Gilded inscription on the book. At the beginning is printed a letter in Yiddish from the Rebbetzin marking the death of her husband with a picture of his gravestone. The Rabbanit (1912-2001) was the second wife of the Admor, daughter of the Admor Rabbi Avigdor Shapira of Chenskhov, known as a strong, virtuous woman, who was active in founding and establishing Satmar institutions around the world and managing tzedakah funds.
