Lot 377:
Typewritten letter by the REbbe on official stationery. From Elul 25, 1962. General letter addressed: אל בני ובנות ישראל אשר בכל מקום ומקום" (to Jewish boys and girls wherever they are).
Written in Yiddish. In it, the Rebbe recalls some of the happenings of the past year. Then the Rebbe appeals to each and everyone to think how they can do better in the upcoming year, explaining several essential points of Rosh Hashanah.
Written on both sides of the leaf and at its end, the eternal blessing: "א כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה, בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד, בברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה בטוב הנראה והנגלה" – and a photocopy of the Rebbe’s signatures.
Larger than usual paper. Filing perforations. Fold. The paper is brown due to aging.
