Sacred and Awe-Inspiring - Kvitel Handwritten by the Tzaddik of Ra'anana - the Mekubal and Wonder-Worker Rabbi Yitzchak Huberman

שנוכל לעבוד השי"ת ללמוד תוה"ק – touching Kvitel handwritten by the Tzaddik and Mekubal Rabbi Yitzchak Huberman, the Tzaddik of Ra’anana, addressed to the rabbis of the Etz Chaim Yeshiva headed by Rabbi Yechiel Michl Tikuchinsky. 

Rabbi Huberman, who was also the Gabai of the Etz Chaim Yeshiva in the arae of Ra’anana, writes to the management of the yeshiva on funds raised for the yeshiva. At the end of the letter, Rabbeinu wrote the following touching lines which indicate his yearning to work his Creator and his modesty: "בודאי יסעו מהישיבה למקומות הק’ נא להתפלל בעדינו לרפו"ש ולאריכות ימים ושנים טובים ולתשובה שלימה שנוכל לעבוד השי"ת וללמוד תוה"ק בהרחבת הדעת ולהדפיס ספרי…".

The Gaon and Mekubal Rabbi Yitzchak Hacohen Huberman (1896-1977) a disciple of the Shem MiShmuel of Sochatchov and the Gaon Rabbi Zvi Glickson (son-in-law of the Gaon Rabbi Chaim of Brisk). He was also close to the Admorim of Ger. After the Holocaust, he served as Rav of Wezler, Germany. In 1950 he immigrated to Israel and settled in Ra’anana. Over the years he became famous as a Mekubal and wonder-worker, many came to him for a blessing. The Gaon Harav Shach wrote about him in an approbation to his book Ben LeAshrei: "המפורסם למלא דעת בנגלה ובנסתר".
