Manuscript, Bichel, with an early copying of Chassidic Drushim and Mamarim and Igrot by the Admor Hazaken Baal Hatanya.

An early copying, approx. two years only after the Admor Hazaken’s passing, with many textual variations, additions and omissions and Mamar להבין ענין נפש ורוח", which to the best of our knowledge has never been published – the Bichel has not been thoroughly studied by us and the buyer has ample room to delve and study the fascinating content. 19 cm. 64 leaves written on both sides and approx. 40 additional blank leaves. Leaf 55 is torn and incomplete. Some moth perforations and tears in several places where the leaf was scorched by the ink. Tear and taping to the title page (see picture). Stains. Old, simple binding with minor blemishes. Some damage to text in several places. Good overall condition.

Please refer to Hebrew catalog text for a list of the major Mamarim appearing in the Bichel.

On the last leaves, indices of the Bichel and varied notations including ownership notations and births (from ca. 1820-1830), stamps of the Bikkur Cholim Hospital of Jerusalem.
