Lot 11:
Old broadside that was printed at the Gelbar printery, apparently in the 1948?, titled ענטפער פון ליובאוויטשער רבי’ן שליט"א, אויף פילע אנפראגעס בנוגע די לעצטע געשעענישן" [freely translated: the response of the Lubavitcher Rebbe (the Rayatz) to many questions about recent events]. The broadside introduces the pure outlook of the Rebbe the Rayatz about the period and the ways to bring the Messiah by Hitchzkut Teshuvah, Torah and Mitzvot. The Rebbe the Rayatz ordered to write the famed words of the Rebbe the Rashab, which were said during the Rabbinic Congress of 1910, that we were exiled not out of our desire and we will get out of it not out of our desire. To this, the Rebbe the Rayatz added that we should remember that we shall be redeemed not by our power and desire, but by that of Hakadosh Baruch Huh. Fascinating and rare content.
