In the Rare Book Collection of the National LIbrary.

Variant! In this copy, the second title page of section differs from other known copies and even in the National Library, this title page is missing.

This siddur was edited by Rabbi Avraham David Lavut (the Rebbe’s grandfather) and divided into two sections with separate title pages. The first contains only what had been printed in the first siddurim printed during the Admor HaZaken’s lifetime, while most of the printing errors of previous editions were corrected and with references to sources of Biblical verses and Maamarei Chazal, which is why it was titled Torah Or. On leaf 72, a prayer for the Emperor. The second section, Sha’ar Hakollel is an addition not printed in previous editions. At the beginning of the Siddur there is an approbation by the Maharil of Yanovitz, brother of the Baal HaTanya.

Wine stains on the leaves of the Kiddush and Passover Haggadah. Detached front board. The first title page is detached. Tears to several leaves, some of them affecting the text. Stains and marks of usage. Good overall condition – especially for a prayer book that was frequently used.
