Letter written and signed by Rav Yaakov Yosef of Slonim, in which he turns to the American Aid management regarding the economic situation of a 9-person family, and the rabbinical salary in Hevron. From Hevron, 1 of Tevet, 1921, with signature “Yaakov Yosef Slonim, serving as the Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi for Hevron.” Good condition, written on official letterhead, filing marks with damage to a few letters.
