Lot 438:
Page, sized 21cm, written on both sides in the holy handwriting of the tzaddik of Gridditz, Rabbi Eliyahu Gutmacher, on issues of avodat hashem and mussar. Amongst other things, mentions the Tanya. Around 90 lines in his crowded handwriting. He lived 1796-1875, one of the first students of Rabbeinu Akiva Iger in Poznan. Av Beit Din of Pelshan and Griditz, a gaon and Kabbalist. In his last years he became famous as a miracle worker and people came from all over to Griditz to receive his blessings. Composed a commentary on Mishnah, questions and answers and more, his glosses on the Shas were printed in the Vilna shas. Good condition, light defect, bound.
