Pri Megadim, a deep and comprehensively learned work on the commentaries affixed to the Shulchan Aruch, divided into two: Mishbetzot Zahav on the Taz and the Sfatei Daat on the Shach, by the gaon Rabbi Yosef Meir Teumim, Av Beit Din of Frankfurt der Oder. Third edition—Frankfurt der Oder 1801. 4, 149 leaves.

Repaired title page, old binding without spine, stains and many signs of use, a few brown pages, overall fair to good condition.

The title page and blank first leaf have old signatures of ownership, stamps: “Library of Rabbi Yitzhak Una”.

Rabbi Yitzhak Una (1872-1948) was born in Wurzburg (Bavaria) and was the Rabbi of Mannheim, head of the Orthodox-Community Rabbinical Association (who opposed the establishment of separate communities) in Germany, member of the Jewish Agency Council, and late in life was a member of the Rabbinical Council in Jerusalem. He was a student of Rabbi Azriel Hildesheimer in his Rabbinical Beit Midrash in Berlin and Rabbi Dr. Mordechai HaLevi Horwitz, Rabbi of Frankfurt (author of Shut Mateh Levi), from whom he received his rabbinical ordination. He studied Classical Languages at the University of Berlin and received a doctorate.
