1. “Midrash Raba on Bereshit,” with commentary Matnot Kehuna, Russia/Poland 1808. At the start of the book is the signature of the Maggid Rav Shlomo Zilberstein—a Gaon and Tzaddik, lived 1814-1909, Av Beit Din and rabbi of Sharkad and Graswordin, compiler of “Ohel Shlomo,” printed after his dead in 1926, at the start of his book is a long introduction on the story of his life (Otzha”r 18431). On the last page is a note that the book is owned by Yaakov Wakad of Bala. Stains and wear. 2. Questions and Answers from the Ril. Slapkowitz 1807. Second edition. Cover of the book has signature and stamp of the Gaon Kabbalist Rav Menahem Natan Auerbach—compiler of the books “Orech Ne’eman” in 4 sections on the Shulchan Aruch, and more, was rabbi of the Rohama neighborhood in Jerusalem, a close friend of the Rav Avraham Yitzhak HaKohen Kook, son-in-law of Rav Yosef Haim Zonenfeld, rabbi of the Charedi community in Jerusalem. Good condition, stains, different sizes.
