Questions and answers on the Yoreh De’ah, by Gaon Rabbeinu Moshe Sofer, Pressburg 1860, first edition. On the cover of the book is the looping signature of the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Rahamim Pontrimoli, a sage of Izmir, whose father was the Gaon Rabbi Haim Binyamin Pontrimoli, the “Petach HaDvir,” who was mentioned many times in the books of his generation. A few bits of moth damage, good condition, new binding.
