Psalms, with the order of standing and exegesis, published by Yosef Lazer of Tarna. Padegorza, 1908. Ths copy of Rabbi Yosef Shapira of Dinov. With this book he prayed for all of Israel. He was the 4th Admor of Dinov, the great-grandson of Rabbi Tzvi Elimelech of Dinov, the “Bnei Issachar,” and uncle of Rabbi Shlomo of Munkatch, father of the Munkatch dynasty. He became famous as a man of God, after his marriage to the daughter of Rabbi Yeshaya Naftali Hertz of Dinov, the “Noten Imrei Shefer.” From 1885 he fulfilled his place as the Rav and Admor of Dinov. On page 142 there is a stamp, with a correction in his handwriting “to all the dark sons of Israel.” By the spine on the cover of the Psalms is a prayer, 27 lines in his handwriting, according to the Kabbalah, this prayer uses an unknown nusach. On the back of the book is a signature in blue ink by his daughter, Raizel Sarah Halberstam, who was married to Rabbi Haim Dov of Bardiov. After the war, she immigrated with her husband to the USA and had a long life. The psalms are in perfect condition, pages are very used, soaked with the sweat and tears that the Dinov dynasty shed. (Chassidut, Yitzhak Elfasi, pg. 147-150, Rabbi Yosef of Dinov 14d).
