Sefer Eliyahu Mizrachi on Rashi’s commentary on the Torah, by Chacham Rabbi Eliyahu Mizrachi (the Re’em).

In this edition, Rashi’s words were printed in square fonts whereas the commentary was printed in Rashi fonts. Shlomo Proops Press, Amsterdam, 1718. [1], 241 leaves. Printed on leaf 211b is a Map of Eretz Yisrael, the first Hebrew map that was published (in the first edition of this book). 

Ancient leather binding, blemished and partly detached. Many moth perforations and damage. Restorations to title page affecting the text. Appearing on the two back flyleaves and one of the front ones (detached) is a fine watermark. Considerable wear. Good overall condition. 

On the title page, two Sephardic signatures. On the flyleaf, varied Sephardic notations. Inside the book, many ancient lengthy and significant glosses in Sephardic scripts. 

The signatures and glosses were not studied.
