Lot 407:
Written in a stylish square handwriting, with signature. HaRav Aryeh Levin, 1885- 1969, nicknamed “Avi HaAsirim” because he would, for more than twenty five years of the British Mandate, walk on foot every Shabbat to visit the prisoners in the British prisons. Studied in Yeshivat Volozhin. After the establishment of the State of Israel founded the Yeshiva “Beit Aryeh.” The letter is from 1959, on a small 14cm paper. Filing holes.
