Lot 226:
Printed certificate from 1823, attesting to a free loan without usury or interest which would be paid back according to the order of payments written in the note, filled in by hand, with signatures of the head and shareholders of the To’elet Company in Amsterdam. The “To’elet Company” was founded by Shmuel Yisrael Molder (his signature is seen here under the name of the agent) with his friend Moshe Lehamnes, the company started with six friends and by the end numbered sixty members. They would hear lectures in Hebrew and read the newspaper HaMa’asaf. A quality paper in great condition, 31cm.
