Lot 224:
Handwritten on a large sheet of parchment, illustration of a tree with details of six generations of descendents of the family Dokor of Lida, that relate to Rebbe David HaLevi Ba’al HaTaz and Moshe Ravkash Ba’al “Be’er HaGola.” Edited by Shomo Bar Isaiah Dokor, who writes: “I put to my heart, all the scrolls that were in the hands of the descendents of HaTaz and HaBe’er HaGola…destroyed together with their owners by Hitler and his followers, may God erase their names from history. The scroll remained in my hands blurry and old and close to crumbling…I am close to age 90 and know six generations…” The first part of the tree was written according to the pedigree written in 1812 by Rabbi Aryeh Leib bar Gavriel Wolpe, in which he elucidated the relationship of the family HaTaz and HaBe’er HaGola until him. This scroll was copied at the bottom. Alongside the “root” a colorful drawing of “the part of the tent on the grave of HaTaz in Lvov”. Rare and unique item. 90cm.
