Second edition of this work since 1602 and with an addition of Midot Hamizbe’ach Vetzurato, published here for the first time, by Rabbi Eliyahu ben Rabbi Zvi Hirsch – Frankfurt am Main, 1714. [2], 20 leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. Foreword by the above Rabbi Eliyahu. Approbation by the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov ben Rabbi Binyamin Katz of Prague, Av Beit Din of Kovlentz.
Fine new binding (the ancient binding with the signatures on it also exists). Small tears to the edges of the leaves. Minor stains. Considerable wear due to usage. Professional taping for reinforcement of the title page to the binding. Good overall condition.
Ancient signatures on the title page, one of them identified: "חנני ה’ יצחק מאיר פייש". On verso of the original, ancient binding, additional signatures. Of them, partly identified: "שייך להק’ איצק אליקם…?" On the last page, a signature: "הק’ יצחק/ישראל נפתלי פיש".
