Sefer Tov Ro’i – Commentary on Shechitot and Bedikot in a Shut format to the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Weill and Sefer Migdol David – a fine work on the Parashiyot, Mishna, Talmud, Rashi’s commentary and Midrash Aggadah, both by the Gaon Rabbi David ben natan Greenhut.

First edition – Frankfurt 1702. [6], 8, 72, 4 leaves. There are copies with additional leaves at the end. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. 

About the important author, the Chida, in Shem Hagedolim, writes: "מהר"ר דוד גרינהוט החכם בכל החכמות, למודיות, טבעיות, הדפיס ספר הגלגולים ויש לו בו הגהות, אך בכתב יד בספר הגלגולים יש כפלים לתושיה, וחיבר מגדול דוד דרשות על ספר בראשית, וטוב רואי על שחיטות ובדיקות ונדפסו".

New binding. The title page and some other leaves are professionally restored with loss to edges – see pictures. The color of the sheets varies – some are brown. Minor stains. Some focused moth damage. Tears to the edges of the foreword leaves. Fair-good overall condition.
