Amal Vetirtzah Shirat Dodim, three sections, a fine play by the linguist and poet Rabbi Shalom ben Yaakov Hacohen. On the title page, he writes that he authored it "לעמת המחברת המפוארה לישרים תהלה להגאון המופת והמליץ הגדול, החכם מוהר"ר משה חיים לוצאטי זצ"ל…".
Indeed, the Ramchal’s Layesharim Tehilah was authored (published in 1743) for the wedding of his friends’ children. The author of this work followed in his Rav’s footsteps and wrote it for the wedding of his friend Shimon ben Gedalya Oppenheim.
