Sefer Mamar Haskel, elucidation on the Piyyut "אל אלהים ה’ דבר" said on Shabu’ot and authored by Rabbeinu Elazar ben Rabbi Natan Ashkenazi, one of the Rishonim. Edited by the Raveh. Based on his foreword, the author of the Piyyut is also the author of the commentary. It should be noted that there are some who doubt the author’s identity.
second edition "proofread and with a commentary" – printed by the Gaon and linguist Rabbi Wolf ben Rabbi Shimchon Heidenheim, the Raveh – Rodelheim, 1804. [4], 62 leaves. Two title pages.
Chassidic approbation!
This edition was approbated by the Gaon rabbi Pinchas Halevi Horowitz, Baal Hahafla’ah, when he was Av Beit Din of Frankfurt. The approbation was given to a set of Machzorim with the Raveh’s commentary, to which the book was added as a tenth volumes.
Thick quality paper. Blemished leather spine. Some minor stains. Good overall condition.
