Letter addressed to Kollel Rabbi Meir Baal Hanes, handwritten by the great Gaon Rabbi Binyamin Beinish Atlas, Av Beit Din of Glasgow, Scotland, and brother-in-law of Rabbi Elchonon Wasserman and Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinsky – Glasgow, 1947.
Rabbeinu, who was apparently the Gabai of Kollel Rabbi Meir Baal Hanes in Scotland, sends a detailed list of philanthropists who donated money to the poor of Eretz Yisrael and asks that they be sent a detailed receipt.

The Gaon Rabbi Binyamin Beinish Atlas, father of the great Gaon Rabbi Meir Atlas, Av Be4it Din of several Lithuanian towns – Salant, Kobryn and Shovel. His holy father, Rabbi Meir, was the in-law of the pious Tzaddikim Rabbi Elchonon Wasserman and Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinsky, the Rav of Vilna. Rabbi Binyamin served as Av beit Din of Glasgow, Scotland for over thirty years. Was a friend in Telz of the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Shlomo Kahaneman, the Rosh Yeshiva of Ponevezh.
