Letter of activism and Iluy Neshama, handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Horowitz Av Beit Din of Leeds, addressed to the Gaon Rabbi Yechezkel Sarna, the Rosh Yeshiva of Hebron – Leeds, 1935.

In his letter, Rabbeinu asks for a member of his community who passed away and there is no son to say Kaddish for him. This late member used to send a small annual donation to the Hebron Yeshiva and his widow promised to continue doing so, asking that the Yeshiva students say Kaddish for her late husband: "ולפיכך היא חפצה שבני ישיבות ישמרו לומר קדיש בשנה הראשונה… כי לא הניח בן, האיש הנ"ל אם כי היה עני בכל זאת היה בעל צדקה גדול… וגם מסופקני שבעבור נדבה לא גדולה כזאת יקבלו עליהם למלאות את חפצה….".
