"כל חיות הישיה"ק תלוי’ בעזרת הועד החברוני בניו יארק" Lengthy letter on both sides of the leaf handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Singer, one of the leading rabbis of London and a disciple of the Saba of Slabodka, addressed to the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Epstein the Rosh Yeshiva of Hebron – London, 1929.

The content of the letter: A discussion about Rabbi Singer’s trip to New York for the committee of the Hebron Yeshiva and the appointment of a secretary for the committee. The letter contains fascinating details about the Hebron Yeshiva, the committee in New York and the courses of action of the activists of the yeshiva. 

The letter was sent to Hebron four months before the 1929 Palestine Riots, during which several student sof the yeshiva were murdered. The riots led to the collapse of the Jewish Yishuv in Hebron and to the relocation of the mythological Knesset Yisrael Yeshiva from Hebron to Jerusalem.
