Sefer Midrash Pinchas "…באר משל ומליצת דברי חכמים… מאמרי רבב"ח [רבה בר בר חנה] ו-(קונטרס שני המבאר את מאמרי) סבי דבי אתונא הסתומים…" – unique work, elucidation of Aggadot Chazal by Rabbi Pinchas ben Rabbi Shmuel of Visaky, Lithuania.
First edition – London, 1795. [6], 40, [1], 17 leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. A additional title page for the second Kuntres. Ptichta Rabbati and an introduction by the author. At its beginning, a list of subscribers from London, arranged by synagogues. The list contains the names of dignitaries aloggside their titles, such as "The Dayan", "Melamed" and the names of the cities from which they immigrated to England.
Ancient binding, leather spine. Bright quality paper. Fine wide margins. Minor stains. Fine copy in very good condition.
