Lot 454:
He lived 1894-1947, in his youth studied at the yeshivot in Munkatch and Ayeweizen, stayed amongst Admorim, including HaRav Zvi Elimelech Spira of Blazhov, Rav Yehosef Rotenberg of Kasani, Rav Yehoshua Heschel Fried of Kapish and Rav Issachar Dov Rokach of Belz. For a short period he also stayed with HaRav Yisrael Hagar of Vizhnitz. He founded of the Shomrei Emunim group, which continues in Jerusalem, with the chassidut groups of Toldot Aharon, Shomrei Emunim, and Toldot Avraham Yitzhak. His many books include Taharat HaKodesh, Shulchan HaTahor, Shomer Emunim, Mevakesh Emunah, and more. Many editions. Worked all his life with fasting and trials and tortures. Many amazing stories are told of him. Size: 14.7×10.5cm, around 18 lines written in ink, signs of folding, stains, generally very good condition.
