Certificates given to Rav Sasson Batzari, brother of the Geonim Abad in Jerusalem, Rabbi Ezra and the Mekubal Rabbi David Batzari. He was born in 1929 to Rabbi Yosef and his mother Marat Victoria, from the line of the Gaon Rabbi Eliyahu Haim, father of the Rashchabag, Rabbeinu Yosef Haim, and on his mother’s side from the Mekubal Rabbi Yehuda Patya. Educated in Porat Yosef yeshiva in the Old City; died on motzei yom tov of the first day of sukkot. 1.
