Lot 244:
Sefer Petach Einayim on Masechet Avot by the Chida. At its end, Kitvei Kodesh by Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk at the end. On the last page, the first-ever edition of the Igeret Hakodesh with Mussar written by Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Rimnov to one of his Chassidim in Mad in 1812.
This edition was printed with the assistance and oversight of the Admor Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Liska (the Rav of Rabbi Yeshayale of Kerestirer), in Munkatch 1873. On verso of the title page, an approbation by the holy Rav of Liska from 1872. Stefansky Chassidut 485. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection.
Detached front board. Detached title page. Moth damage. Fair overall condition.
Signatures on the title page: "שלמה זלמן אולמן" "שלום אולמן" and an addiitonal ancient notation. Notations on the back flyleaf: "אליעזר צבי הירש גאטליעב". All these have not been thoroughly studied.
