Sefer Rav Yeivi, Divrei Torah on the Parashiyot of the Torah and a commentary on Tehillim, Midrashim and novellae on the Shas. The title is the initials of the Gaon author Rabbi Yaakov Yosef ben Yehuda Av Beit Din of Ostroh, who was a disciple of the Baal Shem Tov. The book is one of the first Chassidic books that were published and has been cited by many other Chassidic books even since. 

Second edition – Ostroh, 1808. [1], 129 leaves. The last leaf is missing from this copy. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. Printed at its beginning, Sefer Mora Mikdash by the author on the prohibition of talking in the synagogue.

In his work, the author introduces Divrei Torah by his father Rabbi Yehuda Leib. For the readers’ comfort, in this edition, these Divrei Torah appear in each Parasha, after the author’s words, beginning with the words "בשם אבי מורי זקני" (in the name of my father and teacher). A foreword by the author’s son Rabbi Elyakim Getz. Approbation for this edition by the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Cohen Rappaport Av Beit Din of Ostroh. 

Bluish paper. Title page with red lettering. Dismantled binding, without a spine. Much moth damage, Taping. Tears. Poor overall condition. 

Ancient ownership stamp on the title page – has not been thoroughly studied.
