Sefer Eretz Hachaim 2 Sections by the Gaon Chassid Rabbi Chaim Tirrer Av Beit Din of Chernovich, author of the Be’er Mayim Chaim and Sidduro shel Shabbat.Section I: Halachic and Aggadic novellae on Masechet berachot. Section II: Likutim on Nach and Megillot and some Halachic novealle at its end.
First edition – Chernovich 1861. [2], 79, [2], 30 leaves. Two title pages for section I (surprisingly, appearing on the second title page: "as printed in Slavuta"?) and a separate title page for section II. Stefansky Chassidut 68. A foreword in both sections by the publisher Rabbi Chaim Leib Pang of Sadigure, one of the disciples of the Saba Kaddisha of Ruzhin, where he writes that the Rebbe read the manuscripts and gave the book its title.
On verso of the first title page, a list of subscribers headed by the following Admorim and rabbis: Rabbi Avi Ezri Zelig Shapira (the Admor of Drohobych), Rabbi Shlomo Friedman (of Sadigura), Rabbi Menachem Nachim Dov Friedman (the Admor of Sadigure). Rabbi Yosef Friedman and more.
Apparently original binding. Leather spine. Fine, wide margins. Stains. Moth perforations, mainly to the margins. Some moth damage. Fair-good overall condition.
Varied notations of similar content: "שייך לביהמ"ד דהרב דטאלנא הנקרא טאלנער מדרש". On verso of the binding: "יעקב אהרן ב"ר חיים מרדכי כ"ץ". A single handwritten comment inside the book.
