Sefer Mikeh Yisrael with likkutei Rima, a short work summarizing laws of purity and yichud, gathered from the Shulchan Aruch Yoreh De’ah, Orech Chaim, and Even HaEzer, by the gaon Rabbi Yisrael Matityahu Auerbach, Av Beit Din of Busk, author of many works on other fields of Torah.


Only edition, Lviv/Lemberg 1887 (the NLI mistakenly notes 1884). [2], 30 leaves. Light fraying, stains, lone bits of tape, overall good condition.

The blank binding leaf has a stamp:
“Rabbi Chaim Uri Lifshitz”—this is the son of Rabbi Moshe Lifshitz, Admor of Philadelphia. He was the grandson of the admorim: the Yismach Moshe and Aryeh d’Bei Ila. He founded a yeshiva and beis Yaakov school in Philadelphia, wrote a variety of halachic and aggadic works, the main of which is the series “Uri Chaim”.
