Buyer's premium:

Pesach Haggadah with the commentary Kol Yehuda left by Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Segal Deutsch of Makova, author of the Mayim Chaim, Beer Yehuda, and more, descended from Maran Maharash Admor Rabbi Shalom and the Mohari Admor Rabbi Yehoshua and Moharid Admor Rabbi Issachar Dov of Belz. Facsimile of the first edition printed in Satmar 1938, but the binding states “published now for the second time” and the last page lists the location of printing as “Hay-grid Press, New York” without noting the year of printing, which was most likely 1950. Original binding is detached, spine taped. Tears in the margins of some pages. Signs of use, many winestains, a number of detached leaves, loose sheets.

The title page has a handwritten dedication from the author’s son, the gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Deutsch, Av Beit Din of Katamon, from Adar 1953: “a sign of friendship with recognition as a gift for our friend Alexander Chaim Schwartz shlita, the Rebbe of Gurahonc, now here in Jerusalem, from Yehoshua Deutsch HaLevi, the author’s son.” The back of the binding has a signature in Latin letters from Rabbi Yehoshua Deutsch and his address in Montevideo, Uruguay.
