Shut Binyan shel Simcha on the 4 sections of the Shulchan Aruch by Rabbi Avraham Simcha bar Nachman, nephew and student of Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin, author of the Nefesh HaChaim. The end of the book has a long tshuva from his uncle, Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin, sent to Rabbi Uri Shraga Feivush, Av Beit Din of Dubrovno.
In the introduction written by the author’s son (Rabbi Chaim Yosef), he says that this is a small portion of his father’s teachings, while most of them were destroyed in a large fire in Stislov in 1858.
The blank binding leaf has a stamp of ownership of “Yehoshua Alter Wildman, Avdak of Końskowola”, author of the works Binyan Yehoshua, Emek Yehoshua, and Birkat Yehoshua.
