Complete set in five volumes: the Chumash with Rashi and Targum Onkelos, with a Dutch commentary which appears with on the page with the chumash and next to Rashi, a commentary by the Dutch Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Avraham Shimshon Onderwijzer (1862-1934), who worked many years to produce a Torah edition for the masses but which would be authentic—this commentary was accepted by the Jewish public with blessings from rabbis of the period. This set is the first edition, published in Amsterdam be Van Creveld & Co., 1895-1899.

Worming holes in Bereshit and lone holes in other volumes. Original, handsome bindings, a bit stained in Dvarim (there is also a tear there where the leaves are bound to the spine). A few defects, otherwise overall very good condition.
