"ימחול אלף פעם ולהודיע שורש הדבר" Letter with interesting content by the Chassid Gaon Rabbi Meir Arik Av Beit Din of Torno, author of Minchat Pitim, Addressed to Rabbi Chaim Brody the Rav of Prague.

In his letter, Rabbeinu recommends his relative Rabbi Moshe Hirschfeld, a merchant from Torno, who had trade relations with merchants in Torno who took his merchandise yet did not pay for it. Rabbi Meir Arik asks Rabbi Brody to find out the details of the case and appeal to the merchants so Rabbi Hirschfeld retrieves his merchandise our receives its value "כי מאנשי ישראל המה והתקווה תעודדנו כי יעשו את דברי הדר"ג שליט"א.

Please pay attention! An examination by the Auction House indicates that the letter was not handwritten or signed by Rabbeinu but apparently by his Meshamesh or family member.
