Shut Maharash Engel, fifth section on the four parts of the Shulchan Aruch, by Rabbi Shmuel Engel of Radomishla – First edition, Vranov 1936. 7, [1], 204, [1] pp. Stains. Old binding with some blemishes and stains. Very good overall condition.
On the gaurd leaf preceding the title page, a lengthy dedication handwritten by and with the stamps of Rabbi Yechezkel Halevi Jungreis, Dayan and Moreh Tzedek of Prešov: "בכי יותן להב’ חיים נתן נטע קרויס…. ואם יתמיד בלימודו גם להלאה אשר ברכו ה’ יעלה מעלה מעלה על במתי התורה ויראה טהורה….".
Rabbi Yechezkel Halevi Jungreis, Dayan and Moreh Tzedek of Prešov, the son of Rabbi Yitzchak Zvi Jungreis Av Beit Din of Kashoi (the son of Rabbi Moshe Halevi Jungreai and son-in-law of Rabbi David Zeltzer of Munkatch), the son-in-law of Rabbi Noah Baruch Fischer Av Beit Din of Prešov and the brother-in-law of Rabbi Shmuel David Unger of Nietra.
