A book of Segulot and medicines containing a large collection of Segulot for varied places, including Sefer Hapirkus by Rabbeinu Hai Gaon, and a Goral from a manuscript by Rabbi Yitzchak of Letetshov, a contemporary of the Besht, by Rabbi Yehoshua Yonatan Rubenstain. Yehuda Press, Jerusalem, 1930. Approbation by Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, the Rav of Jerusalem and more. [8], 118 leaves (Ma’asseh Hagoral is missing). Some of it printed on brown paper. Some taping and tears. The front board and title page are partly detached. Moth perforations and stains. Good overall condition. 

The author Rabbi Yehoshua Yonatan Rubenstein was a disciple of Rabbi Aharon Roth the author of Shomer Emunim. Was famed for wearing, on Sabbath eve, shrouds and above them his Sabbath clothes and then going out to the markets and alerting people to the upcoming Sabbath. He used to explain that he wore the shrouds to be ready for his immediate burial if he was murdered since it was Sabbath eve… The father of Rabbi Chaim David Rubenstein and the Breslover Chassid Rabbi Mordechai Elazar Rubenstein.
